외국인 유학생의 요양보호사 자격 취득 및 E-7 비자 전환 제도 안내

[요양보호사란]

요양보호사는 노인을 대상으로 다음과 같은 서비스를 제공하는 전문 인력입니다. 

- 신체활동 지원: 식사, 목욕, 보행 훈련, 간단한 재활 훈련 등

- 일상생활 지원 및 정서적 교류: 대화 상대, 정서적 지지 등 

[대상자]

국내 대학 재학생 또는 졸업 외국인 유학생 (D-2(유학), D-10(구직) 비자 소지자) 

[요양보호사 자격 취득 요건]

- 요양보호사 교육기관에서 이론 수업 240시간이수

- 장기요양기관에서 현장 실습 80시간이수

- 한국보건의료인국가시험원에서 시행하는 자격시험 합격

[자격 취득 후 비자 전환 및 체류 혜택]

- 자격 취득 후 노인의료복지시설 취업 시 E-7 비자 발급 가능

- 최대 3년 체류 가능하며, 고용계약에 따라 체류 연장 가능

[지원 조건]

- 한국어 능력 요건(다음 중 하나)
• 사회통합프로그램(KIIP) 3단계 이상 이수
• 사회통합프로그램(KIIP) 사전평가 61점 이상
• 한국어능력시험(TOPIK) 3급 이상

- 국내 대학 전문학사 이상 

- 노인의료복지시설 요건• 임금: 최저임금 이상 지급• 고용 비율: 내국인 고용 인원의 20% 이내외국인 고용 가능

[Requirements to become a care worker]

- 240 hours of theoretical classes at nursing care workers' educational institutions

- 80 hours of on-the-job training at a long-term care facility

- Passing the qualification examination conducted by the National Institute of Healthcare Workers of Korea

[Visa conversion and stay after obtaining qualification]

- E-7 visas can be issued when working at medical welfare facilities for the elderly after obtaining qualifications

- You can stay for up to 3 years, and you can extend your stay according to the mployment contract

- Korean proficiency requirements (one of the following)

• Completion of social integration program (KIIP) at least 3 steps

• Social Integration Program (KIIP) pre-evaluation 61 points or higher

• Level 3 or higher of the Korean proficiency test (TOPIK)

- More than a associate degree

- Requirements for Medical Welfare Facilities for the Elderly

• Wages: Minimum wage paid or higher

• Percentage of employment: Foreigners may be employed within 20% of the number of domestic employees
